I’m Cami - the founder and heart behind Cami Citrine, and I’m so happy you found us.

Firstly, thank you. Your support of my small accessories business means more to me than I could ever put into words. It’s what allows me to wake up every day and do something I genuinely love. 

But before Cami Citrine became what it is today, it was a little dream I’d been carrying around for a very long time.

I grew up in a small country town in NSW, Australia, and I’ve always loved creating things. When I was eight, I would make jewellery and sell it to my mum, grandma, aunties and their friends. Even then, I knew I wanted to turn my creativity into something bigger one day, I just had no idea what that would look like yet.

At 21, that dream started to take shape. I began a little business from my bedroom, hand-sewing fluffy handbags and hats for hours and hours each day. I wasn’t making much, but I saved whatever I could, slowly building a little piggy bank for whatever came next.

Then, in 2022, at 23 years old, I finally had enough saved to buy my first small collection of jewellery - and Cami Citrine was born.

The name Cami Citrine has always held a special place in my heart. My dad gave me a Citrine crystal for good luck as I was taking the leap to pursue this dream. He has always encouraged me to back myself and chase the things I really want, so when it came time to name the brand, Cami Citrine just felt right.

In the beginning, I was a jewellery retailer, spending hours flipping through manufacturers’ look-books and choosing the pieces that felt the most me. But the goal was always to create something of my own.

After a few months, I’d saved enough to start bringing my own ideas to life - and that changed everything.

Today, every Cami Citrine piece is designed by me, right here in Australia. I design for people who want a little more from their everyday accessories - more personality, more playfulness and a little unexpectedness. Because everyday doesn’t have to mean basic.

Four years later, we’re now a tiny team of two, and somehow this little dream is still being run from my home office. I still obsess over every design, get ridiculously excited when a new sample arrives, and pour so much of myself into every product we create.

Cami Citrine has grown more than I could have imagined when I placed that very first order in 2022, but in so many ways, it still feels like that same little bedroom business.

And I really hope we never lose that.
